Cristina is a graphic, interactive and product designer with 10+ years of experience in a varied array of media and projects big and small, with extensive experience in several industries, including telecom, fashion, consumer goods, education, among others. After graduating in Design from Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal, in 2004, she worked in design studios in Lisbon and Barcelona until 2007, when she enrolled in a Master Degree in Design, Communication Strategy and Advertising at Elisava School in Barcelona. Her career spans through several advertising agencies and design studios including Marca Hispanic in the USA, MRM/McCann Barcelona and Ogilvy Action Barcelona, where she could bring her experience and graphic skills to above and below the line projects, web design and social media campaigns. Among her specialties, illustration, graphic design, product design, photography, strategy, brand identity design, digital design and creative direction. She received recognition in international design and advertising competitions, such as “El baño del futuro Roca” with the project “Sculpture Bath”, selected as one of the 10 best projects; and the winner of Spanish image bank competition “Age Fotostock” with the project “Smack her doll”. As side creative projects, she developed a craftwork brand of jewelry using recycled computer keyboards, and created a brand of clothing and souvenirs called DomFuasto show the Portuguese history and culture in other countries.
